2017 ACDA Convention Trip Itinerary - updated 3/4

The Men’s Chamber Choir is the varsity men’s organization of the 210-member Flower Mound High School choral program. The group sings primarily (but not exclusively) a cappella literature of a variety of styles from a variety of time periods.  A consistent UIL Sweepstakes award winning ensemble, The Men’s Chamber Choir also performs, sometimes with a director and sometimes without one, at a variety of concerts and events around Flower Mound and the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, area.    In 2010, the choir received a Gold Diploma and was named Winner of the Category at the American International Choral Festival in St. Louis, MO. The choir performed at the 2015 Texas Music Educators Convention in San Antonio, and will perform at the 2017 American Choral Directors Association National Convention in Minneapolis, MN.

Students from the Men’s Chamber Choir have been active participants in both local and state solo and ensemble contests, and singers in the choir have been involved with all-region and all-state choirs.  Graduates have gone on to successful music study at major college institutions both in Texas and nationwide.
